WEBINAR – CO-PRODUCTION AND COVID-19: STAYING CONNECTED

A webinar aimed at professionals and volunteers from all sectors who are interested in collaborating effectively with their clients and continuing co-productive approaches during the COVID-19 crisis.

Physical distancing and self-isolation requirements due to the COVID-19 outbreak have brought out new challenges to the way we work and collaborate. As we adjust to new ways of working that rely mainly on digital rather than face-to-face contact, we have started to wonder about how we can stay connected and make sure co-production still happens.

We have invited colleagues from SEA and the Lived Experience Team at Opportunity Nottingham to share their experiences of co-production during lockdown and what alternative approaches they have been exploring to engage with clients.

These short talks will set the scene for a conversation around how we can keep co-production going and make use of opportunities to change the way we collaborate, including;

  • What barriers does social distancing bring to effective inclusion and participation?
  • How can we make sure people who cannot access the internet or have the experience to do so are not excluded from participation?
  • Are clients with multiple disadvantage more at risk of exclusion from co-production in the current context?
  • What opportunities can the digital world provide to be more co-productive?

Audience: This webinar is aimed at professionals and volunteers from all sectors who are interested in collaborating effectively with their clients and empowering them to get the most out of their involvement.

Attendance to this event is free of charge, but advance booking in essential.
