It is important to note that many of the meetings will be recorded and stored by the Fearless Youth Association and may be posted on social media after the event. Therefore, by participating in the event you are consenting to your video/audio being used.

The meetings will take place via zoom, a web-based video conferencing tool, accessible via www.Zoom.us. Some general tips and points of consideration regarding the zoom meeting include being prepared by ensuring you have good internet connection and being mindful of the background behind you when your camera is on. It is also important to remember to think about your actions and etiquette on camera and so, by attending the event you are agreeing to being respectful, no swearing or political comments or revealing personal data of other people in the group.

There are many noteworthy features of Zoom that can be used throughout the meeting. This includes recording the zoom meeting when you sign in as an administrator and live streaming to other platforms including YouTube which can be set up for before the meeting has even begun.

Two other platforms to be aware of are Google hangout and Google classroom. A Google hangout can be accessed via the Google calendar site. These meetings can also be recorded, shared, and downloaded using Google drive. Google classroom is also a helpful tool for sharing materials using a Gmail account. Once an individual has a ‘class code’ they can have access to materials such as quizzes or assignments that the teacher may post.
