Moi university main campus , on the  second day of 22nd September 2023 the forum continues , in the same place student centre where many students attended for the second time , the topic for the same day was about the presentation on the sustainable development goals . The quest of the day were the Moi university geography and the environmental studies representative, The STEM representative, Kenya vision 2030 , project digital , youth future lab , UN youth Ambassador and student representative from Annex campus . Other in attendance were the Moi University Student Organization Leaders.
The event kick off at 10:30, with the arrive of the quests and the registration and certificate confirmation for those who had register for the two days event . The social welfare & special needs student leader Alender Munene welcome all the quest and congratulate them for being part of the program for the day and introduce the days schedule as the students and quest settle down. The master ceremony introduces all types of entertainment which include the Moi university dance crew and Moi university choir .
At 11:30 am , the quests of the day, student leaders the Moi university scouts team , the choir led the ceremony by singing the national anthem , EAC anthem and the moi university anthem ,and the prayer was presented by the moi university patron.
MUSO, Masters of ceremonies , introduced Moi University Student Organization Leaders ( MUSO) .He also introduce student class representatives. Also student leaders from various campus , like the Annex campus , school of medicine were also present and they had a chance to introduce themselves.
At 12.00 am the presentation starts where each of the quest were given a chance to do their presentations . Kenya Vision 2030 where the first one to do their presentation. They present on how to build society and vison 2030 goals .Vision 2030 goals is to create a competitive and prosperous country with a high quality of life by 2030, they also presents on the aims to transform Kenya into a newly -industrializing , middle income country by providing high quality of life to all its citizens in a clean and secure environment , they also presents on the three pillars of Kenya vision 2030 which includes economic, social and political. the students was encourages to be part of Kenya vison 2030 by making the environment clean and sustainable life for all.
The next presenter on the line was UN representative from Annex campus and professor from Geography department, where there presentation was on the importance of sustainable environment locally and internationally , they encourage all the students presents to be part and parcel of conservation of the environment locally and internationally.
Project digital Kenya also took a centre on stage in climatic action dialogue on which there presentation was on the Tale of Two Planets and emphasizes on the on the urgency of spreading awareness about the climate change.
Youth Future Lab (YFL) , a registered NGO that aims at voicing the needs of the youth in Kenya, lead by Fredrick Kioko the project manager and Gilbert whom they present about youth media in which they offer the skills to youths and journalism and qualification to become a community journalism(CJS), Digital inclusion and environmental action. They also offer youths access to over 250 courses, skills networks, resources and information to access the opportunities and be proactively involve in what is happening around them across their lives and also encourages all the students and quests to join YFL Media team in order to raise their voices and make inform decision and to take a positive actions to attain the outcomes they seek to accomplished .
After the presentation was completed, the presenters proceed to the panel which compose of the student leaders , association leaders and some other representative from different organization the topic of discussion was on the youth as a leader, champions and drivers for climate action and sustainable climate development and working with the university students in mainstreaming wellness, fight against drug abuse and enhance the cohesion while promoting the SDGs and climatic actions.
After the panel discussion the students and associations that has exemplary engaged in activities or the innovation that aim to address the climate change and sustainable development were awarded the honorable certificates in recognitions of their exemplary job and all the students who had register proceed to the to receive their certificate of participation .
To the summit effect , Entertainment session from the moi university dancers group, speeches and short remarks , plenary session discussing various related matters in leadership , climate change and sustainable and give out views and ideas as the forum was designated to provide students participants with an inadept understanding of the forum theme and presentations made by the speakers providing insights , resolutions and recommendations to be considered in future
