On 8th February 2024, Mojatu Women, Utulivu Women and Fearless Youth Association (FYA) held a zoom meeting to discuss the menace of Female Genital Mutilation (FGM). In that powerful and pivotal meeting, activists and survivors of FGM gathered to share their stories, insights, and strategies aimed at putting an end to this harmful practice. The meeting which was hosted by Eva from Utulivu Women and Cecily from Mojatu Women served as a great platform for survivors to voice their experiences, shedding light on the physical and emotional toll that FGM inflicts upon its victims. The meeting was a testament to the strength and resilience of those who have lived through the trauma, as they courageously advocated for change.
