Members of Active Nottingham gyms are set to benefit from improvements to their accounts, making bookings and payments easier, and with flexibility.

Recently, Nottingham City Council made significant improvement to all its fitness facilities across the city to ensure that gym users have modern equipment and services.

The introduction of a new Leisure Management System (LMS) in late spring 2023 at Active Nottingham, part of Nottingham City Council, will offer members more control over their fitness.

The new software, provided by Legend, aims to deliver more flexibility, streamline bookings and payments and make it easier for citizens to access leisure centre services.

The system will also enable Active Nottingham to gain better insights into its customer base through improved tracking and reporting systems.

The new digital account management services will give Nottingham Active Gym users a desirable flexibility.

John Wileman, Head of Sport and Leisure for Active Nottingham, said: “The introduction of a new Leisure Management System is an exciting time for Active Nottingham as the improved features will allow residents more flexibility when it comes to managing their account, booking online and via the mobile app.

“Combined with the gym improvement project at Clifton Leisure Centre and Harvey Hadden Sports Village, 2023 is set to be an exciting year for us.”

Implementation of the new system will be rolled out in late Spring 2023 and further updates will be provided via the Active Nottingham website in the coming weeks.

In a statement pushed on their website, Legend said: “Public and private leisure operators of all sizes trust our solution to streamline complex operations, drive growth and maximise retention.”

Further reads the statement: “What’s more, our feature-rich cloud-based leisure management system is continuously updated so you always have the tools you need to keep a competitive edge.”

One of Active gym users, a fitness fanatic, Eric Sampong, a Ghanaian but now a naturalised British citizen who freequent Ken Martin Leisure Centre said:

“This is great news. It will help gym users the flexibility and saves time when it comes to managing the account.”
