RideWise, Sustrans and Nottingham Bike Works are working together to offer personalised travel plans and reconditioned bikes to workers who don’t have access to a car, want to avoid using public transport for their commute and may be finding it difficult to fund their own bike at this time.

Eligibility

  • Living or working within the Nottingham City boundary
  • Commuting to work
  • No access to a car for commute
  • On a low income (earning below the real living wage, on a zero hour contract etc)

Priority given to keyworkers on a low income.

If you meet this criteria then simply follow the link to give them some brief details.  This will enable them to send you a personalised travel plan and refer you for your bike

http://sustransaccess.org.uk/survey/

There are a couple of things to keep in mind – when you’re completing the survey. The ‘Start’ and ‘end’ postcodes refer to the start and end of your commute so they can provide you with a free cycle route plan for your journey.

Lastly, don’t forget to sign up for the newsletter so they can keep you up to date on further support available. A member of the team will be in touch to confirm eligibility, discuss arrangements for your free bike and any travel support you need once they receive your response to the survey.
