June Chebet, the youngest daughter of former President Daniel Arap Moi, has passed away at the age of 60. Her family made the announcement on Thursday, stating that she had died in the morning at her home in Nairobi.
“We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our beloved June Chebet Moi this morning,” the family said in a statement. “At this time of grief, we request your prayers and privacy as we, the family, come to terms with the tragic loss of our sister. May her soul rest in eternal peace.”
