Rising Cancer Cases in Kenya: A Growing Concern
Kenya is facing a worrying rise in cancer cases. Many families are struggling because treating cancer is very expensive. Hospitals are reporting more patients coming in with different types of cancer. This increase is causing a lot of stress for many people.

The high cost of treatment is a big problem. Many Kenyans cannot afford the medicine and care they need. This is making it hard for patients to get better. Some people have to sell their property or take loans to pay for their treatment, which adds to their problems.

Experts say that early detection can help save lives. They are urging people to go for regular check-ups. However, many Kenyans do not go for these check-ups because they are either too expensive or they do not know they are important.

The government and other organizations are trying to help. They are setting up more cancer screening centers and offering free or cheaper check-ups. There are also campaigns to educate people about cancer. Despite these efforts, the rising number of cancer cases remains a serious issue in Kenya.
